1. Description of Service

TruthLens AI provides a free AI content detection tool that analyzes images and videos to estimate the likelihood that they were created or manipulated by artificial intelligence. The Service is provided for informational purposes only. Results are probabilistic indicators and are not guaranteed to be accurate in every instance.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By visiting our website and using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy, our Cookie Policy, and our Disclaimer, all of which are incorporated herein by reference. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with all applicable laws and regulations. You agree NOT to:

  • Use automated tools, bots, scrapers, or crawlers to access the Service in bulk without our written permission
  • Attempt to circumvent, disable, or interfere with security features of the Service
  • Use the Service to harass, stalk, threaten, or harm any individual or group
  • Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity
  • Transmit any viruses, malware, or other harmful code
  • Use the Service in any way that could overburden, damage, or impair our infrastructure
  • Use the results of the Service to make defamatory claims against individuals without further evidence or due process

4. Uploaded Content

You retain ownership of any images or videos you upload to the Service. By uploading content, you grant TruthLens AI a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to process that content solely for the purpose of providing the detection analysis. Uploaded files are not permanently stored by us after analysis is complete.

You represent and warrant that you have the right to upload and process the content you submit, and that doing so does not violate any third-party rights or applicable laws.

5. Accuracy and Limitations of Service

TruthLens AI uses probabilistic AI detection methods. Results are estimates only and may not be 100% accurate. We explicitly do not warrant that the Service will correctly identify all AI-generated content or that it will not produce false positives or false negatives. See our full Disclaimer for details.

The Service should not be used as the sole basis for legal, editorial, employment, financial, or any other high-stakes decisions. You assume full responsibility for how you interpret and act upon the results provided.

6. Advertising

Our Service is supported by advertising, including Google AdSense. By using the Service, you acknowledge that we may display advertisements on the website. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL TRUTHLENS AI, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE PAST TWELVE (12) MONTHS, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS (USD $100.00).
